The five Belt and Road Initiative Projects Chris mentioned include:
1. The High-speed railway and Electric in Laos
This railway is going to be the first railway to connect between Vientiane with Bangkok and Kunming. The length of the railroad is 414 km. To the north, it will connect with Kunming as the China's national rail network. To the south, it will connect with the Thai railway network and lead to Bangkok. It is expected to be completed at the end of 2021.
2.High-speed railway from Laos to Bangkok, Thailand
The project started in late 2017 and Thai Government spent USD$380 million to buy Chinese-made bullet trains and tracks. The rail is 250 km. It is high-speed rail link. The line will be in service by 2024. The high-speed train will reduce the commuting time from 8 hours to 90mns from Thai-Chinese border, Nong Khai to Bangkok.
3.Kyauk Phyu Special Economic Zone, in Myanmar
4.ASEAN’s six-star tourism complex,MNC Lido City , Indonesia
5. ASEAN’s largest lifestyle and residential cruise ship resort, Malaysia,The Melaka Gateway
