Over the past months, the Cambodia government has launched the online business registration system called "Single Portal in June 2020. Through this portal, the investors in Cambodia can register business and taxes in one platform. The Government hopes to reduce unnecessary bureaucratic procedures. The payment for the registration fee can also be made through the portal via debit or credit card by investors.

Below are certain requirements for registering a foreign company:
- Lease agreement or land title of the business’ location;
- A photo of the current Director, which should be no older than three months and taken on a white background;
- Passport ID or national ID card of the Director;
- The company’s or parent company’s articles of association;
- Letter of appointment of the Director in the case of a representative office or branch office; and
- Any special licenses.

Fees for registration:
The fee for registration depends on the type of enterprise and the taxpayer classification that is defined by the General Department of Taxation (GDT). The cost to reserve a foreign company is US$6 and the registration fee is one million Riel (US$246).
