PHNOM PENH (Kyodo)--Cambodian and Thai troops clashed again Saturday morning near the border between the two countries, a senior government official told Kyodo News.
Phay Siphan, spokesman for Cambodia's Council of Ministers said Thai troops renewed their attacks Saturday morning at Ta Moan and Ta Krabey temples and another spot, using artillery. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
Military sources at the border said the new attacks started at 6:05 am at Ta Moan and Ta Krabey temples and Chub Korki, about 25 kilometers west of Ta Moan Temple.
After four hours of fighting in the same border area Friday morning, at least six soldiers were killed and 19 others wounded from both sides.
