On 08 March, in Oddar Meanchey province, Cambodian troops reported that a Thai Mig-class warplane violated Cambodian airspace near Rumduol village, Banteay Ampil district, Oddar Meanchey province. According to a military official, the Thai warplane violated Cambodian airspace three times, 3 kilometers inside Cambodian territories. After receiving this report of Thai warplane airspace violation, the Cambodian ministry of Foreign Affairs asked the RCAF to provide a concise report indicating the time and the date of the violation so that it can bring a complaint on this issue. General Neak Vong, the RCAF commander in Ta Moan temple, told the Kampuchea Thmei newspaper that, currently, in his area, there is no new action to report, ever since Thailand shot artillery rounds into Cambodian territories. He said that even if there is nothing to report, Cambodian troops still remain on alert.
